Let’s be honest. We know that parents anguish over the fact that while their kids are at camp they will not be able to communicate with them as quickly as when their kids are at home or at school. At the same time, we all (camp administrators and parents) do not want campers to be inside, checking email, when they should be outside playing. With the Bunk1.com system parents send emails (Bunk Notes) from their computer or email capable devise to camp for their campers and we print and hand to them to campers. Depending upon how parents utilize Bunk1, their campers can respond back to their parents’ email without needing to access a computer.  The Bunk Reply system allows campers to send emails home, without having to access a computer by utilizing faxing, scanning and bar code technology.  This system allows parents to receive hand-written letters from their campers via email.

So, there is no need to wait three days for a letter. Bunk1’s Bunk Note messaging system allows parents to send emails to their campers directly to our email server. Parents sign on to the Bunk1′s password-protected website, select our camp and their child’s name, type their letter, and hit send. Letters are stored on Bunk1 ’s secure servers and then automatically sent to camp daily (as a single e-mail attachment), pre-sorted by camper name! 

Parents please note:  You will see in the Parent Information Letters below that Bunk1.com is a nominal fee based service.  Once you have purchased a minimum email package, you will be offered the opportunity to view photo posts for free that we upload nearly daily on the Bunk1 Photo Gallery.  Access to the Photo Gallery only is $5.
