Parev – Welcome To The First Armenian Camp In America!

     For hundreds of campers each summer, Camp Haiastan means a modern and up-to-date co-ed residential camp featuring renowned Armenian cultural education and appreciation programs that bond our campers with their heritage. There are boating activities in beautiful spring fed Uncas Pond, swimming in the largest in-ground vinyl lined swimming pool in New England, and a variety of sports, athletics, and outdoor camp activities on more than 100 acres of pristine wooded land.

     The cozy “Cabin Circle” promotes our Armenian family atmosphere and camping philosophy. In addition we have a modern food service and dining facility and a health center staffed by a resident licensed nurse. These are some noteable characteristics of this remarkable place that is now serving the third generation of the first campers to attend in 1951.  Today as then, the bonds of friendships made at Camp Haiastan promise to last a lifetime.
