Camp Scholarships
Need-Based Scholarships
Attending AYF Camp Haiastan is a special experience.
Camp Haiastan is committed to making camp accessible to as many families as possible. Each year, a limited amount of need-based scholarship assistance is available to help offset tuition costs for families who require financial support.
Please keep in mind that many people make financial sacrifices so their children can attend. Our decisions are never meant to deny a camper the opportunity to participate. We may not be able to help everyone to the level of their need. Priorities will be given to those who have never attended before.
Application Requirements
Because scholarships are need-based, families who apply are required to submit financial documentation as part of the application process. This information enables us to evaluate requests fairly and equitably.
All requests must be submitted by March 1st.
Requests received after March 1st will be reviewed if funds are available.
Required documentation typically includes:
-
Most recent federal tax return (Form 1040)
-
W-2s and/or 1099s, if applicable
Additional documentation may be requested in certain circumstances.
Confidentiality
All financial information is treated as strictly confidential. Documents are reviewed only by the Executive Director, Kenar Charchaflian, and are used solely for scholarship determination purposes.
Questions regarding the scholarship can be made by emailing (execdirector@camphaiastan.org) or calling 508-520-1312.
